I have been married to my lovely wife Betsy since the fall of 1994. We have two great boys. Zack was born in September of 1997 and Jake was born in August of 2000.

I work for SpringSource and am a member of the Groovy and Grails development teams.

I enjoy fly fishing for trout in the cold water streams of Missouri. I tie my own flies and may take on the task of building a rod one day. I also enjoy playing my Fender Stratocaster electric guitar. I enjoy playing the game of Go and I play a fair amount poker.
